Dr. Yang’s Research published on Advanced Energy Materials


An article authored by Dr. Kun Liang, Kyle Marcus, Dr. Yang Yang and others has been published by Advanced Energy Materials . The article, titled “NiS2/FeS Holey Film as Freestanding Electrode for High-Performance Lithium Battery”, highlights a facile and scalable nanomanufacturing technique to produce freestanding holey films as electrodes for lithium battery, which presents superior electrochemical performance and cyclability. This work provides a promising way to develop high energy density and long lifetime electrodes for next generation renewable energy storage devices.

Dr. Yang Yang is an assistant professor in the NanoScience Technology Center, and Department of Materials Science and Engineering. He also leads an Advanced Materials & Renewable Energy Group , which developing advanced materials for clean energy generation and renewable energy storage devices.
