Graduate Research Assistantship

A Graduate Research Assistantship at the forefront of nanoscale imaging/spectroscopy for plant science is available at the UCF NanoScience Technology Center. The project will involve plant cell studies with a variety of analytical methods, with an emphasis on infrared spectroscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy.The position will remain open until filled. Requirements

The student should be enrolled in a PhD program at UCF. A background in physical chemistry, material sciences or related field is encouraged. The student should also have a strong interest in life science to take part in the multi-disciplinary research effort of the project. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for the successful candidate.
