Quantum Teleportation

Aside from speculative images in TV and movies, quantum teleportation does not teleport matter, it teleports quantum information. The current focus of our studies is in the transfer of quantum information from one quantum dot to another one, distant from the first one, by means of the conditional single-photon Faraday rotation. Our method utilizes a GHz state of spin-photon-spin system (see Figures 1 & 2) in which no Bell measurements are required and it is fully scalable to arbitrarily many qubits.
