Santra Research Group


Broad interdisciplinary research encompassing nanoscience and nanotechnology, molecular and microbiology, chemistry and materials science. Specific research areas include nanobioimaging and sensing, drug delivery, cell tracking, nanotoxicity, antimicrobial coating, agricultural biocides, water and air filtration devices. This group has strong expertise in developing methods of making novel nanomaterials and nano-based formulations for a wide variety of biomedical, environmental and agricultural applications. Dr. Santra's research has been funded by Federal and State agencies, as well as a number of biomedical and agro-chemical industries.
