Kripa Ahuja won second place for a poster presentation in the recently held Florida American Society of Microbiology meeting. Even as a high school student, she competed in the undergraduate category and was awarded the second place prize.
Ahuja is currently a high school senior at Trinity Preparatory School, Lake Mary, Florida. She has been volunteering with the Santra Research Group for the past year.
FLASM offers an Annual Symposia each year where both local and national speakers present exciting information from their fields of expertise. These annual meetings provide numerous opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to present their research activities and findings.
