Ashley Ewh will be inducted into the Order of Pegasus, UCF’s most prestigious student award. She is a senior in the Department of Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering (MMAE) and has worked with Yong-Ho Sohn as a research assistant in AMPAC, UCF’s materials research center, for the past 4 years. Ashley was introduced to Professor Sohn through a science fair project when she was a senior in high school. She will be pursuing an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering with Sohn as her advisor and plans to work toward a Ph.D.
The Order of Pegasus is the highest honor the university gives to students. It recognizes outstanding graduating seniors and graduate students who have demonstrated exemplary involvement, leadership, academic achievement and community service. This year, sixteen students were selected to receive the prestigious award.
