AMPAC Assistant Professor Dr. Christine Klemenz was elected a Member of the Commission of Crystal Growth and Characterization of Materials (CCGCM) of the International Union of Crystallography. Klemenz was also nominated as member of the program committee for the Solid State Laser Technology XVIII Conference, which will take place January 2009 in San Jose, CA as part of the LASE 2009 Symposium and the Photonics West event.
