Description
Research in nanoscale science and engineering -and corresponding developments of a range of nanotechnologies- continue to receive increasing international attention. It therefore becomes incumbent for a wide range of stakeholders (e.g. industrialists, laboratory researchers, investors, professional science/engineering education organizations and government representatives) to address the preparation of a future "nanotechnology workforce" both at the secondary and postsecondary educational levels. The presentation will focus on exploring the following questions and issues that now are being considered in the emerging field of nanoscale science and engineering education (NSEE):
