Laboni Santra, an Oviedo High School student working with Professor Rajaraman won multiple awards at the Seminole County Science, Math and Engineering Fair held on February 3, 2018.

Laboni’s project entitled “Microneedle Assisted Delivery of Model Therapeutic in Plant Tissue” won the first prize in the Plant Sciences category of the fair and was recognized by the Office of Naval Research in the special award category.
Laboni was selected to compete at the State level.

Most significantly her project was amongst the three highest ranked projects selected to be a finalist at the prestigious Intel International Science Fair Competition to be held in Pittsburgh, PA in May 2018. Congratulations Laboni!
