Laboni Santra, an Oviedo High School student working with Professor Rajaraman has repeated her success from 2018 and has won multiple awards at the Seminole County Science, Math and Engineering Fair and the State Science and Engineering Fair.

Laboni’s project entitled “A Minimally-Invasive 3D-Printed Microneedle Array Applicator System (µNAAS) for Delivery of Therapeutics to Citrus Leaf Tissue” won First Place in Seminole County and the State in the area of Plant Sciences.

Most significantly her project was amongst the three highest ranked projects selected to be a finalist at the prestigious Intel International Science Fair Competition (https://student.societyforscience.org/intel-isef) to be held in Phoenix, AZ in May 2019.

Laboni’s project was also selected as a Finalist (top 5 in all of Central Florida) for the prestigious Dr. Nelson Ying Award (https://www.osc.org/dr-ying-science-competition-winner-announced/). Congratulations Laboni on such amazing accomplishments.
