Catherine Kammerer is a winner of UCF’s Excellence in Graduate Student Teaching award for 2013-14.
She was chosen to represent the College of Engineering and Computer Science for her outstanding work. She will be honored at the Graduate Awards Breakfast on Friday, April 11, 2014.
Catherine teaches both lecture and laboratory sections of Experimental Techniques in Mechanics and Materials. Specific topics include heat treatment of steel, metallographic sample preparation and optical metallography, hardness testing, tensile testing, impact testing, scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, and thermal analysis.
