UCF Today has highlighted a team of UCF scientists that has developed a new process for creating flexible supercapacitors that can store more energy and be recharged more than 30,000 times without degrading. Dr. Jayan Thomas has been recognized for his work on solar nanotech powered clothing. Dr. Thomas says that ‘Back to the Future’ was the inspiration for the solar powered, self charging textiles. Read the full article here
Dr. Debashis Chanda and Mr. Daniel Franklin will be recognized at the Board of Trustees Meeting on November 17, for winning the International Prize for Novel Display Technology.
